The inaugural ceremony was graced by Smt. Preetinanda Routray, Corporator, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, who formally inaugurated the clinic. Speaking on the occasion, she appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of community-based healthcare, preventive medicine and regular neighbourhood health camps for improving public health.

During the event, the management introduced Odisha’s First Clinic Share Model, an innovative healthcare concept designed to enable specialist doctors from different disciplines to practice from a common, fully equipped medical facility. The model aims to enhance access to quality healthcare, optimize medical infrastructure and operational efficiency, while making specialist consultations more affordable and convenient for patients.

The clinic also announced its strategic partnerships with Daaktar.com as its Technology & Operations Partner and Sun Diagnostic Centre as its Diagnostic Partner. These collaborations will enable patients to access specialist consultations, diagnostic services and digital healthcare solutions from a single location.

Delivering the keynote address, Major General (Retd.) Prof. Dr. P.K. Pattnaik, Senior Gastro Surgery Consultant and Special Advisor to Medionkers, emphasized the significance of preventive healthcare, routine health screenings and early diagnosis in reducing the burden of lifestyle-related diseases.

One of the highlights of the event was the introduction and felicitation of the clinic’s multidisciplinary panel of specialists representing gastro surgery, diabetology, pulmonology, paediatrics, family medicine, cosmetic dentistry, oral oncology, Ayurveda, counselling and several other medical specialties. Their weekly consultation schedules were also announced for the convenience of patients.

Following the inauguration, visitors interacted with the specialist doctors and availed themselves of free medical consultations and basic diagnostic services. The management also announced plans to organize regular community health camps and free blood testing initiatives as part of its preventive healthcare outreach programmes.

Speaking on the occasion, the Medionkers management stated that the clinic is committed to delivering ethical, technology-enabled and patient-centric healthcare through an innovative model that improves access to quality medical services across Odisha.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks followed by high tea. Mr. Rituraj Samantaray, Managing Director of Medionkers, expressed his gratitude to all dignitaries, healthcare professionals, partner organizations, volunteers and members of the community for their support in making the inaugural event a grand success.
