Odisha Cricketer Sushree Dibyadarshini Selected for BCCI Targeted Women’s Camp 2026
Cuttack: Odisha women’s cricketer Sushree Dibyadarshini has been selected for the BCCI Targeted Women’s Camp 2026, a prestigious high-performance training programme aimed at preparing some of the country’s most promising cricketers.
The camp will be held at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru from August 3 to August 27, 2026.
Recognition for Consistent Performances
Sushree’s selection comes as another milestone in her cricketing career, reflecting her consistent performances in domestic women’s cricket.
The 28-year-old was also selected for the National Cricket Academy (NCA) High Performance Camp last year, where she trained alongside some of India’s top women cricketers.
Experienced All-Round Performer
An experienced off-spinner and dependable middle-order batter, Sushree has been a regular member of the Odisha women’s cricket team for several seasons.
She has also represented East Zone in the Inter-Zonal One-Day Trophy and featured in the prestigious Women’s Challenger Trophy, showcasing her talent on the national stage.
Boost for Odisha Women’s Cricket
Her selection is being seen as a significant achievement for Odisha cricket and a boost for the state’s women’s cricket programme.
The month-long camp will provide players with advanced coaching, fitness training and match preparation under the supervision of BCCI’s high-performance staff as part of the board’s long-term talent development programme.
